The base combines orris root, musk and woods.
Notes
CITRUS SMELLS – Most often by citrus in perfumery we describe the whole spectrum of hesperidic fruits (Hesperidia), named after the Hesperides, nymphs from Greek mythology. These are fruits or citrus-smelling raw materials (notably verbena and lemongrass) and a few are among the most ancient ingredients in perfumery alongside resins. The more modern variations, such as pomelo, grapefruit, yuzu and hassaku, are relatively recent developments in the area of perfume extraction. (read more)

Acqua
di Parma started as a small factory in Parma. The first fragrance was created
in 1916, Colonia, and at the beginning it was used to perfume gentlemen's
handkerchiefs. Colonia became a real symbol of Italian chic among American and
European celebrities in the pre-war (1930's) and post-war (1950's) years. Cary
Grant and David Niven, Ava Gadner and Eva Turner, later joined by Audrey
Hepburn, were among the passionate admirers of Colonia. From a small factory,
Acqua di Parma grew into a prominent house with wide range distribution. Alas,
the frivolous dictator Fashion and unpredictable and unjust Fortune turned their
back to this Italian house – the years of great popularity were followed by the
years of struggle for survival and against oblivion. (read more)

scent. Nowadays, we are more likely to treat fragrance as an accessory,
changing our perfume daily - or even more often - to suit our busy lives and
shifting moods.
But sometimes, too much choice can lead to confusion. If
you're like most women, you have multiple perfume bottles cluttering your
vanity table. They taunt you every morning as
you get dressed, with the simple yet silent demand, "Who
do you want to be today?"
To help you cut through the clutter, we've created this brief
